YAY OR NAY

"You is kind, you is smart, you is important". Who else are 'The Help' fans? This incredible book/film has so many amazing breakthroughs, but this scene has to be my absolute favourite. Where the nanny tells the little girl she looks after these nine words each morning, pretty much had me in tears immediately. It also made me realise, why do we wait until someone else tells us what they love about us to really belive it? Or feel that we need that reassurance externally? Why can't it come from within for us to see the magic? Each day we are so incredibly lucky to wake up, with sight, bodies that work and loved ones, but barely anyone recognises these things as privelleges, or things to be grateful for. They wake up, take a digustful look in the mirror and seem to be in a rush or stressed until they get home, shove something in their mouth and ready to slam the alarm the next morning and start it all again. Obviously this is a mass generalisation with a cinical approach, but for MOST people in this world is a bitter, truthful insight into most of their days. Gratitude is an emotion very rarely tapped into for some but needs to become a practice each day, because when you operate from a space of gratitude, anger or fear are virtually impossible emotions to feel and abundance and patience will slowly creep their beautiful faces into your life. Their waiting, they just need you to let them in.

We get to wake up each morning with the sacred and beautiful power of chosing our reality. Woah. What an incredibly powerful statement. Fortunately it's one of truth, because we are the result of a lifetime of a mix of good and bad choices. The foods you consume, are they serving your body and your mind? Or is it toxic junk that leaves you feeling foggy and unmotivated? Your thoughts! Are they about living in complete abundance and attracting all of the amazing things into your life? Or are they frustrated with your current situation? Are you a reactive or proactive person? Do you move your body to pump you full of good hormones, or do you feel it's a hassle and haven't even taken the wrapper off your not so new-new yoga mat? We all remember that wildly popular goldmine of a book; the secret. It had one message, you have the power to attract whatever it is that you want, through your thoughts, actions, behaviour and what you repeatedly say. It really is as simple as focusing on what you really want to achieve in life and shifting every part of your life into that focus and work damn hard to achieve it.

Obviously this is easier said than done, but nothing incredible in life comes to those who think it's easy. The juice out of life is for those who are willing to squeeze damn hard and the more times you do it, the more of a part of your life it becomes and you learn to master it. One of my favourite men, David Wood says every master was once a disaster. So this is him giving you the permission to fail forward, because in spirituality you can't fail! You can keep on working towards what you want, visualising and filling yourself up. Too many people are counting on you to fill yourself up, so that you can then help others do the same. Don't turn down your light for anybody, step into it and start creating your reality. Start very simply and eventually it will turn into a habit. Consistent daily ACTION will get you to your goals with a positive mindset and filling yourself up with goodness. SO start surrounding yourself with positive, inspiring people. If you come to a harsh realisation that no one in your friendship circle, workplace or family are those kind of people, we live in the 21st Century, so that's what social media can be great for. Jump online, follow the people that light you up, intrigue you and get you hustling towards your dreams. The right people will flock towards your light, but they won't be able to if you live your life in disguise. Just like I said in my last writing piece, the universe is there to open doors for you and catch you when you make that magical leap towards enlightenment. We're all waiting for you to do it...Just like the wonderful Lara Bingle once said "where the bloody hell are ya?"
